The beer is then sent through a centrifuge to remove any excess yeast which may be still present before it is stored for anywhere up to 4 months at a temperature of 5 degrees in huge Maturation Vessels.

When the beer is fully matured it is then pasteurised and fine filtered before being pumped into bright beer tanks.

8. From these tanks, the beer is kegged,bottled or canned and is ready for delivery. Beer can also be served directly from bright beer tanks. You may or may not have noticed that it was traditional to have a public house physically connected to every brewery which made sense as there was no need for additional transport costs.
